McLeod's Daughters
McLeod's Daughters is a drama series, set in the outback of South Australia. The idea of a bunch of women, running a farm, in a male dominated world. When Jack McLeod dies, he bequeathes his property to his daughters Claire and Tess. Tess has lived in town with her mother, but returns to the farm, called Drover's Run, when she receives the news of her fathers death.
When Claire dies, Tess takes over the farm with the help of Meg Fountain, the housekeeper of Jack, her daughter Jodi, who later turns out to be a McLeod as well, Stevie Hall, who's an old friend of Claire and the love of her life: Nick Ryan.
Nick is the younger Ryan brother and owns Wilugl, a nearby farm. His older brother Alex inherits Killarney, their family farm, when Harry, their father dies and Nick leaves Australia together with Tess to find work in Argentina.
Stevie takes over Drover's and finds the love of her life in Alex Ryan, who has found out, that Harry wasn't his real father, but Bryce Redstaff is. Bryce sends Marcus to Killarney, after he took over a part of the farm as an inactive partner. Just before he leaves for the adventure farmlife, Marcus learns from Bryce, that Alex is his half brother.
